BROWNIE CHEESECAKE AND BLUE WILLOW

This cheesecake seemed like it needed to be immortalized in a painting. It's got a brownie crust with chocolate ribbons thickly drizzled on top. It was very good! I feel it's good to experience what I'm painting. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

The little blue willow dessert plate makes a nice contrast to the browns of the dessert and the blue glass reflects the plate nicely. I angled the plate to give it added interest. The background is a speckled countertop.

This a hand painted 8" x 8" oil on canvas.  Because I do mostly commission pet portraits I only do a handful of still life a year. Don't let this one get away!
This painting is done in oil on a stretched 10 x 10" canvas. The sides are painted for frameless display.
