 This painting is of an Orange -winged Amazon Parrot. Blue Fronted Amazons look very much the same in the face so you'll have to take my word for it on this one. He has orange on his wings! Blue Fronted Amazons have yellow and/or red patches on their shoulders and wings.

Other names used for this bird are Orange-winged Parrot and Loro Guaro. The Oranged Winged is said to be the smaller of the Amazons.

In the wild they reside from Columbia South American to Trinidad, Central Brazil an Tobago. It's reported that they are becoming part of nature in Miami Florida. Released by pet owners?

These birds are much loved by many as a companion.
